A devastating incident has shaken the Nenu Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, as a Nigerian medical doctor, Tony, reportedly lost his life after consuming a poisoned drink allegedly given to him by his own kinsman.
The shocking event occurred on Boxing Day, December 26, in the doctor's village. A friend of the deceased, Prince Agbara, took to Facebook to share the heartbreaking news.

In his post, Prince Agbara revealed that the alleged perpetrator fled the village with his family immediately after the doctor's tragic demise. "Somebody that was alive and healthy on the 25th, poisoned on the 26th through drink and he vomited and that was it, by his kinsman. On noticing that my friend had d!ed he ran away with his family," he wrote.
