Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has issued a heartfelt warning to his congregation: beware of the pitfalls of marrying outside the church.
In a recent sermon on Sunday, December 29, 2024, Suleman emphasized the numerous benefits of uniting with a partner who shares the same spiritual values and community.
With a fatherly concern, Suleman expressed his reluctance to attend the weddings of members who choose to marry outside the ministry.
"I won't be there to celebrate with you," he said, "because we have many wonderful daughters within our church community who share our vision and values."

Suleman's words were not born out of a desire to control, but out of a deep understanding of the challenges that can arise when believers unite with non-believers.
He revealed that a staggering 70% of the conflicts he had mediated in the past two months involved couples who had married outside the church.
As a spiritual leader, Suleman's plea is motivated by a genuine desire to see his members build strong, God-centered marriages that will flourish in the years to come. Will his words resonate with the Omega Fire Ministries community? Only time will tell.
